On 28 April, the Stipendium Hungaricum intercultural workshop once again brought international and Hungarian students together in the spirit of cultural exchange, understanding, and community building. The event provided participants with the opportunity to explore different cultures through engaging presentations and open dialogue.
The workshop was organized by the Ludovika Welcome Center Department of the International Office, continuing a tradition that has been running since the academic year 2023–2024. Since its introduction, the series has become an important platform for fostering intercultural awareness and strengthening the international student community.
This workshop featured presentations by Rama Fahed Khalil on Palestine, entitled “Where Tradition, Identity, and Hospitality Come Alive,” and Angelina Delova on North Macedonia, entitled “Small Country, Big Soul.”
The event highlighted the value of intercultural dialogue and the importance of creating spaces where students can share their backgrounds and perspectives. By introducing their countries and traditions, the speakers offered participants a unique opportunity to experience the world through different cultural perspectives.
Through initiatives like this, the Stipendium Hungaricum community continues to strengthen connections between students from diverse cultural backgrounds. The workshops not only promote cultural awareness but also help build a stronger sense of belonging within the international student community at the Ludovika University of Public Service.
The organizers aim to continue this tradition in the coming academic years, further supporting intercultural learning and dialogue among students from around the world.
