About Ludovika Sports Association (Ludovika SE)

The goal of the Ludovika Sports Association (Ludovika SE) is to support the university's sports life, provide professional backing for curriculum-related sports activities, and promote overall university sports. Based on the cooperation agreement signed with the university on May 31, 2013, Ludovika SE contributes to the implementation of the university's Sports Strategy, participates in training and sports duties, supports students in meeting mandatory physical education requirements, and provides sports opportunities for students, staff, and their family members.

Ludovika SE was officially registered as a public benefit organization at the Budapest Metropolitan Court on February 18, 2016, and since 2017, it has been eligible to receive 1% personal income tax donations.

The association boasts over 1,000 members, and our athletes achieve outstanding results in various domestic, international, and university championships. We are proud that in 2022, our university secured a prestigious second place in the MEFOB (Hungarian University and College National Championship) points ranking behind the Hungarian University of Sports Science, making us the second most athletic university in the country. In addition to competitions, our athletes—especially in the martial arts sections—regularly participate in domestic and international demonstrations, promoting both the university and the sports association.

Gekko Mountain and Sport Climbing, Basketball, Martial Arts (Judo, Enforcement Tactics, Functional Enforcement Tactics, Kendo, Kickboxing, Tonfa, Force Necessary), Football, Equestrian, Marksmanship, Law Enforcement K9, Volleyball, Futsal, Badminton, Tennis, Swimming, Fencing.

Alongside well-known sports, our offering includes sections that preserve traditions, support educational goals, and cater to new student interests.

While the university supports the operation of Ludovika SE with significant annual funding, we also utilize grant funds and sponsorship contracts to advance the professional work, training, and competition of our sports sections.

How to Join Ludovika SE

Joining a section requires the prior approval of the respective section leader; please contact them directly to express your intent to join.

Once approved, you must complete the application form available at:

Submit the form to the section leader or as instructed on the document.

Membership Details for New Members:

  • Association Membership Fee: HUF 5,000 / calendar year, payable via bank transfer to the account specified on the application form.

  • Section Fees: Individual sections may charge additional section fees, which they determine and utilize independently. The university also provides significant funding for sports activities.

  • Supporting Membership: If you do not wish to join a specific section but would like to become a supporting member of the association, please indicate this on the application form.
