2026 FALL ERASMUS+ CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
FOR TEACHING AND STAFF MOBILITY

 

Application period: September 07, 2026 (08:00) – September 18, 2026 (14:00)

Maximum duration available: 5+2 days

Eligibility:

- Any natural person with Hungarian citizenship, or holding a residence permit, settlement permit, or refugee status in Hungary, who

- is employed by the University under the conditions set forth in § 2 of the Employment Regulations, and

- does not have an awarded but uncompleted mobility, or have formally withdrawn from such a mobility prior to submitting the current application[1].

Application procedure

- Applications can only be submitted electronically via the Erasmus+ Application Portal.

- Applications must be submitted using the applicant’s university email address.

- Applications may be submitted until September 18, 2026, 14:00 at the latest.

- Please strictly adhere to the submission deadline. After the deadline, the Application Portal will close, and it will not be possible to submit applications.

Eligible countries and institutions

For Teaching mobility: The list of eligible institutions can be accessed by clicking HERE.

For Training mobility: Applications may be submitted for the following destinations:

  • Programme Countries: European Union member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Turkey.
  • Partner Countries[2]: Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Montenegro, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan.

Documents to be attached to the application

- CV in Europass format or the University’s template, with photo;

- Signed approval from the applicant’s supervisor. The approval must be scanned and uploaded to the portal after signing;

- Copy of language certificate(s).

Evaluation process

- If the application is incomplete or the electronic form is filled in incorrectly, the applicant will have 5 working days to submit the missing information from the date of the related notification.

- Following submission, applications meeting the formal requirements will be evaluated based on the criteria set out in Rector’s Directive No. 32/2021. Valid applications will be assessed exclusively on the basis of the application form and the attached documents.

- The Erasmus+ Evaluation Committee will decide on the ranking of applications that are submitted on time and meet all formal requirements.

- Employees under a probationary period are eligible to submit an Erasmus+ staff application. However, during the evaluation process, the Erasmus+ Evaluation Committee may give priority to applicants whose employment relationship with the University is not subject to a probationary period.

Announcement of results

- Applicants will be notified electronically about the evaluation of their application via the Erasmus Application Portal.

- The results are expected to be announced within 5 weeks following the closure of the application period.

[1] A mobility is considered uncompleted if, at the time of submitting the application, the applicant does not have a Mobility Agreement duly signed by all parties concerned.

[2] Partner country: a country that is not considered a programme country, but is classified by the European Commission into one of four geographical regions. Since January 2021, the United Kingdom has also been regarded as a partner country. Within the framework of the project, the institution may, at its own discretion, announce training mobility opportunities towards partner countries up to a specified percentage of its available budget.
