LUDOVIKA UNIVERSITY OF PUBLIC SERVICE

The new Erasmus Semester has been launched at the FPGIS

Nearly 50 Erasmus students have just started the Fall Semester of the Academic Year 2022/2023 at the Faculty of Public Governance and International Studies. On the Orientation Day, held on September 5, the international students could get familiar with the history and traditions of Ludovika – UPS and were informed about the next semester schedules with all the necessary details of the English programs.

At the beginning, Réka Varga, dean of the Faculty, welcomed the students via her video message and wished that all of our exchange students would spend an unforgettable time at the University. Next, Péter Krisztián Zachar, vice-dean for International Affairs, greeted the participants and besides warning them to be aware and follow the current pandemic regulations, he also encouraged them to make friends, discover Budapest and enjoy their stay here as much as they could.

Professors from different departments of the Faculty welcomed our foreign students via video messages as well. In one of the messages, a professor said: ‘Education is all about You’ and almost everyone emphasized that it is a wonderful opportunity to meet face to face again. At the end, Zsombor Artner, the coordinator of the International Division at the Faculty and Gergő Drahota from the Registrar’s Office introduced themselves and offered their help with the registration processes, paper work or any other administrative issues needed during their stay.
