Erasmus+ Info Session at the Faculty of PGIS

The beginning of March brings not only springtime but also the time to apply for ERASMUS+ Program. Although, despite the difficulties of the past year, we do hope that there will be an opportunity for all of you to have a great experience to do your Erasmus+ mobility activity soon. Student Mobility could be one of the most important parts of your university life, where you can have a chance to learn or do your internship in another country, which might greatly contribute to your career, your language skills or even to your social network.

Regarding the fact that we are in the middle of the pandemic, several questions came up concerning your prospective mobility activities, therefore as a remedy, the International Committee of the Student Union at the Faculty of PGIS organized a virtual “Erasmus+ Info Session” which was held on 12 March, 2021. At the outset, the Vice-Dean for International Affairs, Dr. Péter Krisztián Zachar, greeted the participants and was followed by the Head of the International Division, Noémi Farkas, who described the requirements and steps of the application process. Moreover, she also drew attention to the advantages of studying one or two semesters abroad with an Erasmus+ scholarship. Then, Szilvia Almási from the Registrar’s Office talked about the most important registration and academic issues, which must be done before leaving for and after the mobility as well as the steps to be taken in order to have a successful credit recognition.

In addition, some of the students who had already been able to take part in a Student Mobility shared their Erasmus+ experiences with us. At the end of the session, the students had the opportunity to ask questions from the Faculty’s experts as well.

Finally, we hope that all of your worries and doubts have been addressed about the application for the Erasmus+ Program. So do not forget, Erasmus is an adventure, and might be career opportunity and definitely a  community experience!

The Application Deadline is 19 March, 2021 10:00 a.m.
