Broadening international relations of Ludovika Our new partner institution is from Malaysia

A cooperation agreement has been completed between Ludovika and the University of Malaya. This was also discussed during the visit of Hungarian Ambassador Dr. Ponevács-Pana Petra accredited to  Kuala Lumpur.

Negotiations between the two higher education institutions and the conclusion of cooperation were also assisted by the Hungarian Embassy in Malaysia. The guest was received by Dr. Boglárka Koller, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and the meeting was also attended by Klára Breuer, International Director, and Dr. Norbert Révai-Bere, Deputy Head of the International Office.

Dr. Boglárka Koller thanked the Hungarian ambassador for the Embassy's support and expressed the hope that by concluding a formal cooperation agreement, students and lecturers could be exchanged in the future. Given that the University of Malaya is seeking to involve foreign lecturers, and the Ludovika is seeking to increase the visibility of its lecturers internationally with online courses as well, the partnership presents new opportunities for both parties. Ambassador Ponevács-Pana emphasized that the Malaysian government has a strong interest not only in the EU as a whole, but also in the Central European region. The Vice-Rector pointed out that Ludovika has a significant knowledge-base about the EU and our own region, therefore they are happy to undertake further negotiations in connection with the forthcoming Hungarian Presidency of V4, too.
