Visit of the Ambassador of Thailand at the NUPS

H. E. Mr. Bhakavat Tanskul, Ambassador of Thailand paid an introductory visit to the NUPS with his counselor colleague. The Ambassador started his service in Budapest tree months ago. On behalf of the university's international management, the distinguished guests were received by Mrs. Boglárka Koller, Vice Rector for International Affairs, Mrs. Klára Breuer, Director for International Relations, and Mrs. Antónia Kováts, Manager of the International Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, the hosts briefly presented the history of the university. Then they outlined the structure of each faculty and the international relations of the institution. Consequently, the process of student admission, carrier prospects and job opportunities were discussed. Mr. Bhakavat Tanskul expressed his appreciation for the university’s significant teaching and research activities and for its outstanding campus. He also showed great interest in the law enforcement and water science trainings, and particularly in the soon to be launched water diplomacy training. Mrs. Boglárka Koller informed the guests about international co-operation possibilities, in particular on co-operation in the framework of the international credit mobility project of the Erasmus + program, and student exchange programs through the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program. Mrs. Klára Breuer reported on the Ludovika Ambassadors’ Forum, the Day of Hungarian Diplomacy, and other forthcoming events at the NUPS that involve the international diplomatic circle.


Following the meeting, the negotiating parties took a short walk in the Ludovika Main Building and mutually expressed their willingness to cooperate in the future.
