Faculty Orientation Day 2019

Great number of international students were interested in the first Orientation Day of the Faculty of Public Governance and International Studies. In 2019/20 Fall semester 53 incoming Erasmus students arrived, which number is in accord with the size of the Faculty.

Péter Smuk, Dean of the Faculty welcomed the newly arrived students and ensured them about the Faculty’s support, moreover wished everyone a successful semester.  

Vice-Dean for International Affairs, Péter Zachar introduced the Faculty, its main topics and courses, moreover he recommended sport and entertaining opportunities, which, besides academic issues, are vital parts of a student’s life in NUPS. Three lecturers of the Faculty participated in the Orientation Day; Zsuzsanna Peres, Mónika Szente-Varga and Gábor László gave an insight into their departments and shared their international experiences and advices for the future.

Dániel Frankó, representative of the Student’s Council and Blanka Csite, Programme Coordinator of the Erasmus Student Network introduced their societies’ work and offered future programs during this semester.

In the fall semester of the 2019/2020, 53 students arrived to the Faculty of Public Governance and International Studies by Erasmus + program, mainly from Germany, Turkey, France, Romania, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Russia, Czech Republic, as well as Finland, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Azerbaijan.
