LUDOVIKA UNIVERSITY OF PUBLIC SERVICE

Success of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme

On 7 March 2018, during the „Multicultural Crossborder Cooperation” the professors from the East China University of Political Science and Law (China), the Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia) and the KIMEP University (Kazakhstan) said farewell to the National University of Public Service with successful cooperation projects and unforgettable memories.

During their 2 weeks stay, the renowned scholars, who arrived from NUPS’ partner institutes, gave lectures and presentations for the faculty’s professors and initiated research and cooperation plans. The students and professors of NUPS showed great interest in the lecture of the visiting professors, who on the other hand were happy to learn about the Hungarian culture and the degree programmes offered by NUPS. The lecturers emphasized the knowledge, interest of the students and their openness to international processes. Participants of the professional programmes learned about the research results of the lecturers and the 21st century challenges of their respective countries. Aliya Tankibayeva (KIMEP) and Ekaterina Batovrina (Lomonosov) talked about the characteristics of public administration; Wang Jimang (Minzu) presented the peculiarities of China's 53 ethnic groups, with previously unknown information about wedding customs and the living conditions of these ethnic groups. Xu Peng’s and He Jiong’s (East China University of Political Science and Law) great presentation skills captured the attention of the audience when they talked about the international intellectual property and international commerce.

The implementation of the programme was facilitated by the Erasmus + International Credit Mobility project which provides opportunities to partner countries from all around the globe and participation in this is a high priority project of the International Relations Office. With the available funds, numerous students, scholars and staff members can gain experience at one of the partner institutes and can work on future professional cooperation projects.

At the end of the workshop the guest professors highlighted that they would advertise the reputation of NUPS and the good Hungarian hospitality. “Budapest is a charming city, we are grateful to all our colleagues at NUPS and their cordial reception. We are looking forward to coming back to your country!”
