Tamás Szádeczky, PhD professor, acting head of department Dr. Tamás Szádeczky, engineer, MBA, habilitated in military engineering, has been working in the field of information security audit and consulting since 2003. He holds several international professional titles, CISSP, CISM, CISA, GICSP and IRCA ISO 27001 principal auditor. Péter Bányász, PhD associate professor Dr. Péter Bányász graduated in political science from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of ELTE, and received his PhD from the Military Technical Doctoral School of the National University of Public Service.His research interests include the human aspect of cybersecurity, the network theoretic approach to psychological operations, and the relationship between privacy and surveillance. Balázs Budai, PhD eassociate professor / project expert leader Dr. habil. Balázs Benjámin Budai, PhD (1979) is an administration organizer, security organizer, IT engineer, and lawyer, and a habilitated Associate Professor. Since 2001, he has been teaching full-time at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of today’s University of Public Service, as well as at its Leadership and Continuing Education Center. Since 2006, in addition to these, he has also been teaching in the Infocommunications Law program at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pécs. Between 2010–2012 and 2016–2017, he served as Vice-Dean for Education of the Faculty. From 2016 to 2019, he was Head of the Institute of Public Administration and Public Policy, and from 2019 to 2025 he has been Head of the Department of Public Administration and Information Technology. He is program director and specialization director. Between 2016 and 2018, he was research director at the Ministry of Interior. From 2021 to 2023, he worked as Senior Knowledge Manager at the Lechner Knowledge Center. His main monographs have been published by Akadémiai Kiadó: The Theory of E-Government (2009, 2014), Rethinking Public Administration (2017). His research fields include the digital state, public administration modernization, and the digital competencies required for these. In addition to teaching, he also manages his enterprises. Csaba Krasznay, PhD associate professor Dr. Csaba Krasznay is an associate professor at the National University of Public Service, his research topic is cybersecurity, and he is the former head of the Institute of Cybersecurity Research at the university. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2003, and received his PhD in Military Engineering from the National University of Technology and Economics in 2012. Ferenc Koczka, PhD senior lecturer Ferenc Koczka has been involved in computer technology since 1986, when home computers first appeared in Hungary. He has worked in both higher education and industry, specializing in operating systems and networks, and cyber security issues and solutions. Péter Sasvári, PhD associate professor Dr. habil. Péter Sasvári, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the University of Public Service and a Scientific Advisor at the University of Miskolc. He earned his Ph.D. in Management and Organizational Sciences in 2009 and completed his habilitation in Public Administration Sciences in 2020. His research focuses on science management, scientific excellence, and visibility. He is the author of numerous international publications, with more than 250 scientific works, over 50 of which are indexed in Scopus. He serves on the editorial boards of three international and four national scientific journals. He has supervised one completed doctoral dissertation and is currently supervising four Ph.D. candidates. In addition, he has acted as consultant for more than 180 bachelor’s and master’s theses. She is a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Military Engineering, her area of research is cyber operations in armed conflicts after 2020. |
Ákos Orbók Assistant Lecturer Ákos Orbók has been working as an assistant professor at the National University of Public Service since 2016. The subjects he has taught so far are information security, user skills for office applications, and digital competence development. Anita Tikos holds a BA in International Studies and an MA in European and International Administration from Pázmány Péter Catholic University.Since 2011, she has been working on EU cybersecurity regulatory issues and cybersecurity cooperation, and since 2019 she has been working as a senior supervisor at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank. His PhD research is focused on the evolution and development of EU cybersecurity policy and its impact in Hungary.
