LUDOVIKA UNIVERSITY OF PUBLIC SERVICE

Alumni, carrier stories

Alumni and career stories

1. Connection between the Program and the Job Market

We consider it the mission of the Master of Public Governance and Leadership (MPGL) to prepare our students not just for exams, but for a successful career in public service leadership. We believe that the Alumni Community is not merely the program's past, but an active participant in its present and future development.

2. Where Do Our Graduates Work? (Career Outcomes)

Holders of the MPGL degree typically succeed at strategic levels of public service and in the international arena. Based on the experience and career tracking data of recent years, our graduates' career paths point in three main directions:

  • Government and public administration sector: strategic planning, analysis, and executive support in ministries and background institutions.

  • International organizations: diplomatic corps and EU institutions, where intercultural and governance competencies acquired during the program are directly utilized.

  • Public policy consulting and analysis: think-tanks and private companies cooperating with the public sector.

3. Institutionalized Feedback: SAAB

How do we ensure that the training is always up-to-date? Within the framework of the Student and Alumni Advisory Board (SAAB), alumni members and leading employers have a direct influence on curriculum development. This structured dialogue guarantees that what we teach today remains valuable knowledge in the labor market tomorrow.

4. Joining and Networking

Professional development does not end with a degree. The Ludovika University of Public Service Alumni Association welcomes graduates and graduating students of the MPGL.

  • Why join? – Professional networking, exclusive events, mentoring opportunities, and participation in program development.
