Dear Prospective Ludovika-UPS Alumni Association Member!
Ludovika - University of Public Service (Ludovika-UPS) was established on the 1st of January 2012 as the legal successor of the following three higher education institutions: the Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University, the Faculty of Public Administration of the Corvinus University of Budapest and the Police College. Since 2017 Ludovika-UPS is also the successor of the Eötvös József College of Baja regarding its technical BSc programmes.
Ludovika-UPS aims to reach its goals by keeping the traditions of its predecessors alive as well as by adopting their merits and results. In this ambition, Ludovika-UPS Alumni Association plays an important role, because in the course of the University’s present-day operation, the members of the Association connect the merits of the past with the results to be achieved in the future.
The following persons may become members of the Ludovika-UPS Alumni Association:
a) former students who graduated from Ludovika-UPS or any of its predecessor institutions;
b) final-year students of Ludovika-UPS;
c) international students of Ludovika-UPS;
d) Hungarian and international guest students who are pursuing or have pursued partial studies at Ludovika-UPS.
For the purposes of the Alumni Regulation, a graduate is a person who has obtained an absolutorium at Ludovika-UPS or at any of its predecessor institutions in a bachelor’s, master’s, undivided, or equivalent college or university programme, in a higher-level vocational or higher education vocational training programme, in a postgraduate specialist training programme, or in a doctoral programme.
For the purposes of the Alumni Regulation, persons who completed other forms of officer training, a military senior leadership/general staff course, or a national security senior leadership course shall also be considered graduates.
The operation of Ludovika-UPS Alumni Association, the rights and obligations of its members are regulated in detail by the Alumni Regulation of Ludovika-UPS.
