Col. Ferenc Petruska, PhD Vice-Dean for International Affairs Dr. Petruska serves as the Vice-Dean for International Affairs at the Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training and is the Head of the Department of Military Law and Administration. He is a professional career officer who began his service in the Hungarian Defence Forces in 2001. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive practical experience as a legal advisor at various military units and the Ministry of Defence. He earned his PhD in Military Sciences at the Ludovika University of Public Service. His research focuses on academic data science, autonomous weapon systems (AWS), and lawfare. He adopts an interdisciplinary approach, exploring the legal aspects of veteran care and the intersection of religious practices with military life. Additionally, as President of the Honvéd Zrínyi Sports Association, he possesses wide-ranging expertise in the field of sports law. Contacts:

Col. László Kavas, PhD, Associate Professor Colonel Kavas graduated from Killián György Flying Technical College in 1985 as an aviation engineering officer, and he started his military career as an instructor in the same Collage at Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Department. In 1994 he completed his studies at Technical University of Budapest, as certified mechanical engineer. In 2009 he obtained his PhD degree at Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University. His scientific activity covers the following areas: Evaluation of military aircraft, considering technical, technological and economical aspects.
