The detailed description of the tasks of the individual organizational units:

 

Department of Static Courses

The Department organises, plans and coordinates the courses needed for military promotion and assignments for post included in the yearly Educational Plan. The courses last from 3 to 5 months periods including theoretical and practical intensive modules. The educational, entrance and completion requirements of the courses are approved by the ChoD.

 

Department of Military Professional Courses

The Department organises, plans and coordinates the courses needed for military retraining and further training included in the yearly Educational Plan. The courses include theoretical and practical intensive modules. The educational, entrance and completion requirements of the courses are approved by the Heads of Directorates responsible for the professional supervision.

 

Department of Military Exercise Planning and Partial Education Planning Courses

The Department organises, plans and coordinates the preparation of officers, lacking military Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree and planned to be schooled for Master of Science Degree (MSc), to get the missing credits.

The Centre is responsible for the organisation and coordinates the implementation of exercise planning included in military courses. Moreover, it takes part in the planning and accomplishment of Ludovika - University of Public Services’ (Ludovika-UPS) and the Military Faculty’s exercises. Based on governmental decision, it accomplishes planning, organisation and implementation of certain tasks regarding the Programme of Patriotic and Defence Education, stipulated in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ludovika-UPS and MoD, in cooperation with military organisations, civilian secondary schools and institutes of higher education.
