On 7 April 2022, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to establish the cooperation between the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and the University of Public Service. The signing ceremony of the Memorandum took place online. In the name of UPS, Boglárka Koller, Vice-Rector for International Affairs signed the Memorandum in the presence of Bernadett Antal, Head of the International Office, professor András Szöllősi-Nagy and professor Imre Miklós Jánosi. Rector Eden Y. Woon represented the AIT.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to provide a framework for the exchange and augmentation of scientific and technical knowledge between AIT and UPS. This cooperation aims, among others, to develop dual degrees and joint degrees for master’s and doctor’s programs, exchange technical information and materials for education, research, and commercialization purposes depending on the available sources or co-organize training courses, conferences, workshops, and conferences.
During the virtual meeting, the Parties assured each other of the commitment to close professional cooperation as set out in the agreement.
