The National University of Public Service provides comfortable and affordable accommodation for students in its dormitories. Several residence halls are available, primarily centered around the Ludovika Campus in Budapest. Notably, the modern Orczy Dormitory is located adjacent to the main campus and offers convenient housing for students of multiple faculties. Another major student residence is the Diószegi Úti Dormitory, which accommodates law enforcement students (RTK) in a location within easy reach of university facilities. Each dormitory is equipped with furnished rooms, study areas, laundry facilities, and common social spaces to ensure a supportive living-learning environment. 

In addition to the Budapest dorms, NKE maintains accommodations for students studying at its regional campuses. For example, the Faculty of Water Sciences in Baja has the Beszédes József Dormitory, providing on-site housing for water science students. All university accommodations are allocated through an application process that considers students’ program, scholarship status, and academic progress. Priority is generally given to those coming from outside Budapest or abroad, and to students with exemplary academic or service records. 

Living in the dormitories offers students a strong sense of community and convenient access to campus resources. Resident students benefit from organized community programs, mentorship by resident assistants, and 24/7 security. By living together, students from different faculties (public administration, military, law enforcement, etc.) have the opportunity to interact and build a cohesive Ludovika community beyond the classroom. Overall, the university’s accommodation services ensure that students have a safe, inclusive, and engaging home during their studies.
