Expertise and experience

The MA programme provides opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experiences through study visits to institutions such as the United Nations’ headquarters in Vienna.

Be a member of an international community

The student organisations of LUPS, the student union, the specialised research colleges and the university sports club are all open to international students as well. All incoming students are introduced to the student life of the University and Budapest through the mentor system operating at LUPS. The mentors support international students in academic and in everyday life issues as well and facilitate their settlement in Hungary.

Mastering languages

Even though advanced English language knowledge is already an entry requirement, the programme will contribute to the development of your language skills that are indispensable for your future diplomatic career, in languages such as Spanish, German and even in Chinese or Russian.

The curriculum of the MA programme follows a modern and contemporary approach to international relations and reflects the most pressing issues of international affairs, like migration or information security.
