Open publishing and peer review with F1000: an introduction for life science researchers2 June 2025 (Monday) - 5 pm (online) Language: English This session will introduce the F1000Research open publishing and peer review model for researchers working in the life sciences. It will include a presentation on the unique features of the F1000Research publishing platform, and the advantages of our post-publication open peer review model. We will also highlight some key life science topic areas on the platform, known as Gateways, such as Bioinformatics, Cell & Molecular Biology, and Genomics & Genetics. These are currently open for article submission. We will be joined by Dr. Vitaly Ganusov, a Professor at the Theoretical Immunology Lab, Texas Biomedical Research Institute. Dr. Ganusov is a previous contributor to F1000Research’s Cell and Molecular Biology Gateway. You will hear about Dr. Ganusov’s first-hand experience of our post-publication peer review model, including submission, publication, peer review and revision. |
