From November 10 to 14, 2025, a delegation from the Chinese Immigration Administration visited Hungary as guests of the National Directorate-General of Aliens Policing (OIF). The purpose of this official visit was to strengthen professional relations between the immigration authorities of both countries, promote international dialogue, and share best practices in the field of migration management and law enforcement.
On November 11, 2025, the delegation was hosted by the Faculty of Law Enforcement at the Ludovika University of Public Service. The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about Hungary’s system of law enforcement education, as well as the structure, mission, and academic work of the university.
The morning program began with a presentation by Colonel Dr Zoltán Hautzinger, Head of the Department of Aliens Policing, who introduced the organizational framework, training methodology, and key research areas of the Faculty. He also highlighted the department’s role in preparing future officers to address challenges in migration control and international cooperation.
Following this, Dr. Ferenc Petruska, Vice Dean for International Affairs of the Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training, gave an overview of his faculty’s academic and professional activities, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and the importance of joint international initiatives.
After an informative morning session, participants shared a working lunch, where discussions continued in an informal setting, allowing both sides to exchange experiences and explore opportunities for future cooperation. In the afternoon, the delegation visited the Tactical House and the shooting range, where they observed practical training demonstrations that form a vital part of the university’s law enforcement education.
Throughout the visit, experts from China and Hungary engaged in meaningful dialogue about key areas such as border security, migration management, and professional education. The meeting served as a valuable platform for deepening institutional ties and promoting mutual understanding between the two nations. Both sides expressed their commitment to maintaining active cooperation and continuing the exchange of knowledge and expertise in the years to come.
