Police Students from the German Federal Police Academy visit the Faculty of Law Enforcemen

On 29 October 2025, a fourteen-member delegation of students from the German Federal Police Academy visited the Faculty of Law Enforcement at the Ludovika University of Public Service. The guests were welcomed by Dr Zágon Csaba, the Head of the Department of Academic and International Affairs, who delivered a presentation on the structure of Hungarian law enforcement higher education and the contemporary challenges that training programs must address.

As part of the program, the students took a campus tour where they were introduced to the modern infrastructure of the Faculty and the implementation of an experience-based educational model. The delegation gained insights into the academic use of various facilities, including the interrogation room, the tactical training house, and the forensic laboratories. These facilities provide Hungarian law enforcement students the opportunity to enhance their theoretical knowledge through realistic practical scenarios.

During the visit, one of the stops was the Border Guard Memorial Room, where the guests learned about the history of Hungarian border policing and past operational practices in detail. Major Gábor Bélai and Lieutenant Colonel László Vájlok from the Hungarian police supported the professional program.
