AI Legal Experts Visited Our Faculty – Prof. Dr. Aleš Završnik and Dr. Václav Stupka's Workshop on 'AI in Cybersecurity and User Behavior Analysis'

On October 9, 2024, the Faculty of Public Governance and International Studies, Department of Cybersecurity had the privilege of hosting two distinguished guests: Prof. Dr. Aleš Završnik, a renowned scholar in the field of AI and law from Slovenia, and Dr. Václav Stupka, an expert in cybersecurity strategies from Czech Republic.

The focus of their visit was a lecture and workshop on "The Role of AI in Cybersecurity and How User Behavior Analysis Can Help in Zero Trust". Prof. Dr. Završnik and Václav Stupka shared their extensive experience in the intersection of AI, law, and cybersecurity, delving into how AI technologies are becoming central to securing networks and protecting sensitive information.

The workshop, held for international guests, emphasized the increasing importance of zero-trust architectures and how user behavior analysis plays a pivotal role in detecting and preventing cyber threats. Prof. Dr. Završnik explored the ethical and legal considerations of using AI for real-time monitoring and security, while Dr. Václav Stupka provided practical insights into implementing AI-driven solutions to fortify digital environments.

The event offered a comprehensive understanding of cutting-edge approaches to cybersecurity. This visit further strengthens our faculty’s dedication to staying at the forefront of cybersecurity research and AI developments. Their visit was supported by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority of Hungary.
