LUDOVIKA UNIVERSITY OF PUBLIC SERVICE

CEEEGOV Days 2024 at the Ludovika University of Public Service

The Central and Eastern European e|Dem and e|Gov Days 2024 (CEEEGOV Days) international conference took place at the Ludovika University of Public Service on 12-13 September. Each year, the event provides a major platform for showcasing the latest research and innovations in e-government and digital democracy. This year's conference focused on e-Agriculture, e-Government, Smart Cities, Economy and Society, e-Health, Cybersecurity and the Industry 4.0. Participants not only learned about the latest technological and policy solutions, but also received guidance on how to develop innovative public services.

At the event, researchers from the TKP2021-NKTA-51 project "Sustainable Governance and Innovative Public Services" also presented the results of their research on complex policy models to address the challenges of the Industry 4.0.

The Cybersecurity section of the conference included three important presentations on the relationship between the Dark Triad personality and cybersecurity (authors: Péter Bányász, Pál Laska, Tamás Szádeczky, Kincső Bányász-Váczi), the situation and challenges of the cybersecurity legal framework and EU financial institutions (authors: Kristóf Stölczer and Tamás Szádeczky), and on the relationship between generative artificial intelligence and cybersecurity (authors: Péter Bányász, Tamás Szádeczky, Kincső Bányász-Váczi).

In addition to the presentations, the researchers held a workshop entitled "Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence: business drivers and risks", during which experts discussed the benefits and risks of industrial digitalisation and business applications of artificial intelligence. The workshop took place in the John Lukacs Lounge of the University and the participating researchers were Petra Benedek, Imre Kulcsár, István Törcsváry, László Molnár and Zsolt Bederna. The workshop was led by Tamás Szádeczky.

The international conference not only provided an excellent opportunity to present the latest research results, but was also of great relevance for international networking and knowledge sharing. Participants came from different countries and disciplines, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences and develop new collaborations.

TKP2021-NKTA-51 has been implemented with the support provided by the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund, financed under the TKP2021-NKTA funding scheme.
