LUDOVIKA UNIVERSITY OF PUBLIC SERVICE

The next level of strengthening Korean relations

On 4 July, Heungkoo Lee and Dr. Jae Seung Lee from Korea University and Ilmin International Relations Institute at Korea University visited Ludovika University of Public Service and held a meeting with Dr. Tamás Pálvölgyi and the colleagues of the Directorate General for International Affairs.

During the discussion, energy security, energy transition, and sustainability were addressed from both Korean and Hungarian perspectives. The continuously escalating international conflicts have made these energy issues even more relevant today. Therefore, experts in the field are striving with greater effort than ever to unite their strengths and share their experiences and knowledge to find solutions. The excellent research staff at Ludovika University of Public Service and Korea University will also place greater emphasis on this in the future.

As they discussed and shared their experiences during the meeting, both countries face similar challenges in energy transition and sustainability, so if we work together and our universities strengthen their ties, together we can find solutions quickly and efficiently.

We will continue to focus on fostering our relations and sharing ideas, especially as this year marks the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Hungary and South Korea.
