On the 23rd of April 2024, the Welcome Center Department of the International Office organized the first international student alumni event, where the keynote speaker - Mr. Craig Johnson - held a thought-provoking workshop entitled “Plan your success in Hungary: Stipendium Hungaricum Alumni Network Hungary”.
Mr. Johnson explained the various methods of Design Thinking and introduced how the international students can find opportunities and plan their success in Hungary. Furthermore, he introduced the Alumni Network Hungary organization, where he is an active volunteer. This event was organized as part of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme, which supports the internationalisation of the Hungarian higher education and promotes the international student alumni communities.
For this reason, the International Office has started to build the University’s international student alumni network to which students can join and develop their community after completing their studies. We would like to start the LUPS International Student Alumni Chapter, where the members can establish regional volunteer-led groups based on different countries and build a social and professional global alumni network. We are looking forward to creating the LUPS International Alumni Chapter with your help!
