There are three types of cooperation that the LUPS can offer to Shandong University: the first is when an international student enrols in an advertised course. Secondly, it is also possible to apply for scholarships; and lastly to sign cooperation agreements.

In order to build international cooperation and learn about each other's cultures, Shandong Academy of Governance has established the Institute of International Relations, as Chinese students are interested in this type of training. The three centres of the university, the Centre for International Partner Universities, the Centre for the Dissemination of Cultures and the Centre for Public Relations, were introduced.
