On March 28, 2023, Andrea Sitzia, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Political Science, Law and International Studies at the University of Padova, and Prof. Fabrice Rosa, Director of the Centre de Recherches Juridiques sur l'Efficacité des Systémes Continentaux (CEJESCO), University of Reims Champagne Ardenne, Faculty of Law and Political Science, visited the Faculty of Public Governance and International Studies of the University of Public Service. As guests of the faculty, the two professors gave a lecture on Comparative Civil Service Law for second year students of the International Public Management bachelor course, organised by the Department of Human Resources. Their lecture focused on the main characteristics of the Italian and French civil service, the relationship between labour law and civil service law, the delimitation of labour law and civil service law, and the specificities of labour relations. The comparative law lesson also provided an opportunity for Zoltán Petrovics, Associate Professor in the Department of Human Resources, to highlight some of the specificities of Hungary. After the lectures, the guests were given a tour of the university campus by the head of departement, Dr. Zoltán Hazafi, Associate Professor Edit Kajtár and Associate Professor Zoltán Petrovics, and discussed the possibilities of future cooperation.
