The Hungary Foundation based in Washington DC is an important partner of Ludovika - University of Public Service. The foundation provides scholarships for young Hungarian and US scholars in order to help them do research in each other’s countries. After the interview with a grantee from Ludovika, Balázs Tárnok, now you can meet Ryan Brockhaus whose area of interest is Central European and particularly Hungarian security and defence policy and works at the American Research Centre at Ludovika. Besides his research work, you can also hear from him about how he sees us Hungarians. Ryan is somebody who plans to keep his Hungarian contacts and come back to us in later years, too.
