Polish-Hungarian Joint Public Service Programme

The National University of Public Service served as the guest of honour at centenary conference of the Polish Public Service College (KASP). The event, which was held in Warsaw, commemorated the 100th anniversary of Poland gaining back its independence, and was attended by the heads of the Polish state and public service.

Prof. Dr. Norbert Kis, Dean of the Faculty of Science of Public Governance and Administration at NUPS was the keynote speaker of the conference, who talked about the political and technological trends in today’s public service. While, among others, the heads of the German Research Institute for Public Administration, the National Academy for Public Administration in the Ukraine, and the director general of the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) all participated in the roundtable discussion following the speech too.

KASP is centre of public service training and further training since the change of regime. NUPS and KASP has also maintained a fruitful conversation and training planning. As a result of this, the two institutions plan to launch a new, joint public service leadership programme with the help of the European Union in 2019.
