Col. Dr. Gábor Szászi Colonel Szászi is entrusted with education-related matters at the Faculty as Vice‑Dean. He graduated from the Miklós Zrínyi National Defence University, the predecessor of Ludovika-UPS. He successfully completed the Doctoral School of Military Engineering in 2013. Subsequent to his admission, he has been pursuing an academic path. Alongside his military qualification, Vice‑Dean Szászi earned a degree in logistics management as well. Throughout the course of his three decades of professional career, he had been working many years at the University as a professor. Afterwards, he was assigned to various leadership roles also within the University.

Col. Dr. Zoltán Krajnc Dr. Krajnc serves as Vice Dean for Science of the Faculty of Military Sciences and Officer Training and also as Head of the Joint Operations Department. He is originally a Ground Based Air Defence Missile Officer and after basic officer training, he graduated from a university-level programme at the Zrínyi Miklós Military Academy as an Air Operational Officer. He defended his PhD-thesis with „Summa cum laude” in 2001 and received the title of Habilitated Doctor in 2006. His research areas include air operations planning; air warfare doctrines; ballistic missile defence; aerial components of counter-terrorism; and aerial warfare technology development. |
Col. Dr. Zoltán Jobbágy Dr. Jobbágy serves as Vice Dean for International Affairs of the Faculty of Military Sciences and Officer Training and also heads the Department of Military Strategy. He originally is an Infantry Officer who started his career in the prestigious HDF 32. Guard Regiment. After studying at the Kossuth Lajos Military College in Szentendre he studied at the University of the Federal Armed Forces - Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg, Germany and the University of Economic Science in Budapest. He received a PhD. in social and behavioural science at Leiden University in Leiden, the Netherlands. He successfully habilitated in military science at the National University of Public Service. His research area is military operational and human resource management aspects of joint operations. He prefers research with inter- and multidisciplinary character for which he blends military theory with insights coming from complex adaptive system theory, causation theory, population genetics, and anthropology. Col. Dr. Mátyás Palik Colonel Palik graduated from Killián György Flying Technical College in 1985 as a fighter controller, where he continued his military career as an instructor at his farmer Department. ln 1998 he completed his studies at the Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University as a higher commander of the Air Forces. In 2007, he obtained his PhD degree at the above-mentioned University. Dr. Palik's scientific activity covers the following areas: Unmanned aircraft systems and their applications, the air traffic management system, and simulation technologies for airspace control.

Col. Tibor Papp Colonel Tibor Papp assumed his current post on 1 October 2020 and is responsible for the coordination of the administrative work at the Dean’s Office. Colonel Papp was graduated from the Zalka Máté Military Technical College in Budapest. Later he got bachelor’s degree at the Economical University of Budapest and master’s degree at the University of Pécs in Human Recourses Management studies. He served as an HRM officer in various positions including MoD and GS levels. He has conducted two NATO long term deployments (SHAPE and NRDC-ITA) and three other deployments to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Latest he filled the Chief of Staff position at NATO Headquarters Sarajevo. Colonel Papp’s numerous service awards include the NATO Meritorious Service Medal and the USA Defence Meritorious Service Medal.
