Institute of Law Enforcement Training and Education
The Institute started its operation in 2012, in the same year when the National University of Public Service was founded, on the basis of Act CXXXII of 2011 on the National University of Public Service and on the public administration, law enforcement and military higher education.
The Institute manages tasks related to familiarising the students with the organisational culture, providing them with special physical and fitness training, teaching them the practice of taking police measures, drill routine and shooting training. It is also our responsibility to develop the right attitude in students, using pedagogical methodology that focusses on law enforcement socialisation and to carry out tasks related to teaching the usage of IT systems applied by law enforcement organisations. The Institute conducts its activities with regard to and in accordance with the educational and scholarly research policy of the Faculty of law Enforcement.

The head of the Institute is dr. jur. Attila Simon pol. colonel, master instructor. he has been involved in law enforcement since 1986 and has been teaching at the University and its predecessor since 1994. His specialism is administrative law. He has been head of the Institute since its establishment in 2012.
