Department of Private Security and Municipal Policing
Department of Private Security and Municipal Policing
The Department of Private Security and Municipal Policing was established in September 2013. Since then, we are responsible for the training of full-time and part-time students specializing in Private Security within the undergraduate (BA) program. In 2020, we launched our new MA program, and to meet the latest requirements of the security industry, our Private Security specialization was fully modernized. Now, a larger and more complex training portfolio is being offered to our students at both educational levels. We have a special training room equipped with cutting edge security technology on the Ludovika Campus that supports us in offering state-of the-art practical training to our students. Effective cooperation takes place with the professional chamber, leading private security companies and local governments, primarily in the form of job offers, summer work placements and scholarship programs. All our students are provided with a professional uniform and a wide range of study books in our main subjects to support their learning.
