NUPS Alumni Association

Dear Prospective NUPS Alumni Association Member!

The National University of Public Service (NUPS) was established on the 1st of January 2012 as the legal successor of the following three higher education institutions: the Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University, the Faculty of Public Administration of the Corvinus University of Budapest and the Police College. Since 2017 NUPS is also the successor of the Eötvös József College of Baja regarding its technical BSc programmes.

NUPS aims to reach its goals by keeping the traditions of its predecessors alive as well as by adopting their merits and results. In this ambition, NUPS Alumni Association plays an important role, because in the course of the University’s present-day operation, the members of the Association connect the merits of the past with the results to be achieved in the future.

The following persons can apply for the membership of NUPS Alumni Association:

a) graduates and former lecturers, teachers, researchers and other employees of NUPS or of its predecessors,
b) present lecturers, teachers, researchers and other employees of NUPS,
c) full-time students of NUPS, who concluded at least two semesters (or in the case of a two-semester programme concluded one semester),
d) international exchange students who conduct exchange studies at NUPS.

Graduates are those, who acquired a student leave certificate in either a bachelor, master, doctoral, postgraduate or advanced vocational programme of higher education of NUPS or of its predecessors, or completed an army officer school or an expert level military staff training course or an expert level national security staff training course.

The operation of NUPS Alumni Association, the rights and obligations of its members are regulated in detail by the Alumni Regulation of NUPS.
