In accordance with its strategy, NUPS aims to regularly organise international weeks for international colleagues. In general, international weeks provide opportunity to teaching and administrative staff to conduct mobility programmes and meet fellow colleagues from several partner institutions. These events are the most efficient ways of conducting Erasmus+ mobility programmes. The list of international (staff) weeks can be found on the http://staffmobility.eu/staff-week-search website.
In September 2014 NUPS organised its first international staff week in co-operation with the Corvinus University of Budapest. 11 countries were represented during the three days when participants got acquainted with the peculiarities of Hungarian higher education and discussed mobility-related issues during several workshops.
The International Week of October 2016 was a special one, as Asian and African partner institutions were represented for the first time in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. Besides, the event was organised around a special topic, international crisis management, mainly related to international students.
In the spring semester of 2016/2017 our first International Week for teaching staff will be organised under the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. The aim of the International Teaching Week is to facilitate teaching mobility, both for the visiting lecturers and for the receiving faculties, as well as to increase the effectiveness of guest lecturers.
The broader aim is to support professors’ professional development, broaden the international network of NUPS, to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience among teachers from different nations as well as to explore possibilities of developing joint projects between NUPS and partner institutions.
Call for applications and detailed programme will be available on this site.
