Orientation Day at FPGIS 2020

The Faculty of Public Governance and International Studies organized its Orientation Day on 12 February,2020 for its newly arrived incoming students who are going to spend a semester at NUPS within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program.

Before the official program all of our students were invited to take part in a Campus Tour where they could take a walk around the whole campus and get to know about the history of the university or visit the sport facilities as well.

At the beginning of the official program the Vice-Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Péter Krisztián Zachar welcomed the students, and wished them a great time at NUPS. Following the short introduction of the Faculty four of our professors, Dr. Péter Koronváry, Dr. Zsolt Szabó, Dr. Ágnes Jenei and Dr. András Hárs, from different departments talked about their units and the requirements the students have to face during the semester.

Some of the representatives of the Faculty Students’ Union or Erasmus Student Network also participated in our Orientation Day and shared some useful and practical information about the life at the university to help our incoming students integrate into a new society.

Around 40 students from almost twenty countries, 9 EU and 9 non-EU countries, arrived for the Spring Semester of the Academic Year 2019/2020 within the framework of various scholarships programs such as Erasmus, Campus Mundi and Makovecz.
