There was continuous interest in NUPS’ stand at the 17th EDUCATIO International Education Expo, which was held until Saturday at the largest venue in the history of the fair, at the HUNGEXPO Hall ‘G’ in Budapest.

At certain times during the day, it was difficult even to navigate between the stands of the 200 exhibitors, among which NUPS’ exhibition was one of the most popular. The law enforcement and military programs, and especially their exhibition material attracted great attention as customary, but high school seniors were equally interested in civilian programs too. Students could learn more about programs offered by the Faculty of International and European Studies, the Faculty of Political Sciences and Public Administration, the Faculty of Law Enforcement, and the Faculty of Military Sciences and Officer Training and the Institute of Disaster Management. From the beginning of February, NUPS expands with a new faculty, and the information desk of this new faculty already attracted a lot of attention too.
“Every year, we try to showcase new elements, both on a visual level and content-wise too, and I think we managed to make your stand even more attractive this year” – explained Pol. brigadier general Dr. Gábor Kovács, Vice-Rector for Education. The Vice-Rector also added that next to the faculty open days, and the EDUCATIO fair, the university promotes itself with a roadshow. During this international expo, that attracted the participation of 18 different countries, colleagues of NUPS provided information about the BA and MA level program s of the institution, and the application process unique to NUPS and its special programs. Participants could learn more about colourful continuing education portfolio, the international and scholarship opportunities and about the Ludovika Project as well. On Friday, the exhibition was visited by leaders of the university and its partner institutions too. Both Prof. Dr. András Patyi, rector of NUPS and Lieutenant General Zoltán Orosz, Deputy Chief of Defence of the Hungarian Armed Forces visited NUPS’ stand.

During the application campaign, NUPS organises open days at its faculties. The Faculty of International and European Studies, the Faculty of Political Sciences and Public Administration had their open days last week, while the Faculty of Law Enforcement has its open day on the 27th of January, and the new Faculty of Water Science has its on the 2nd of February in Baja, Hungary.
